Add-a-leaf or shackels for 2 inch lift?
Looking for better clearance on 235 75LT/15's
Prices about the same any thoughts?

I personally haven't used an AAL before but from what I've read, they tend to give a stiff ride due to the fact that it's one leaf lifting the entire Jeep.
I would go with the shackles, but another option would be to take a couple leafs from another XJ pack and add them your existing pack for a 2-2.5" lift.
I would assume that these would also stiffen it up a bit, but not as harsh as the AAL.

use the main leaf from another xj pack with the eyes cutoff, then add a 1.5" spacer up frt and you will be fine

Extended shackles wear out springs real fast. I had brand new stock springs that I put my shackles on and the springs are way inverted now. I'm going to do the XJ donor pack thing. Wish I'd done that in the first place.
