front body panel conversion.

I have a 1990 limited 4door, i was wondering if the latest fenders, hood, grille, and hatch will swap with little or no modification.

The fenders on appearance are the same, only the fender flares are different

the attachment points are all different. WHY?

fenders are different shape and the way they hook into the header pannel are different. you can make the original fenders work but for the easiest install just use 97+ fenders. You will need all the wiring harness from the 97+ for the lights to work easily. The hatch is not worth the time to change, the hinges are totally different. you can swap on fender flares, bumper caps and mirrors fairly easily to complete the look you want more...i would just stay away from the hatch idea.

I believe gojeep did this at one time (the front clip replacement to newer style on an older one) check his website.
