Ok I've been making the designs for my front bumper and have it all pretty much done. If i could just get your guy's opinions on it all for if it will work.
-The Brackets are going to be made of 1/4" and i got the basic design from: http://www.twisted-halo.com/digicam/...er%20mount.pdf
This design already incorprates the steering box brace. The only addition to the brackets is that I'm going to extend them to fit up to the back side of the bumper so i can weld it there. Also on either side i am going to add another piece of 1/4" near the front that is 5" wide on the inside and protrude through the bumper (3" wide outside the bumper) and be the tabs for the D Shackels. so they will be 3/4 thick". i will weld the bumper to the mounts on the front and back.
-The bumper itself will for the most part follow the designs here:

My design incorprates it the face being 6" wide and taper back to 4 1/2" on the front near the headlights and then taper back to 3 1/2 near the fender.
The bumper is gonna be made of 3/16". and as of right now i have it made up to just have a top and a face.
so my main areas of concern are if the tabs for the sackels are thick enough. and if i really do need to make a bottom to the bumper. Thanks for all your advice you guys have been VERY helpful in getting me this far.
