TJ D30 Components cross-compat with XJ D30?

I understand that a D30 from a TJ, and internals including axle-length, etc., is the same as used on an XJ and, thus, all parts are interchangeable(although, I imagine, it matters re HP vs. LP on some parts...)...?? Can someone, who knows with certainly confirm please...
