WHEN:
ST. Patrick's Day weekend March 16,17,18 2007
WHERE:
Johnson Valley

Trails for everyone. from an easy, all day run all over the place to...
YOUR FREAKIN' CRAZY!!!
Starting on Friday Night we will have a late night run up Clawhammer. we
usually start this run at about 9pm and it finishes by midnight... usually.
Saturday will be the usual assortment of a big group out all day running
all over the desert doing more sightseeing and mild obstacles. A medium
level group that will probably take on Clawhammer and or aftershock. And
a hardcore group that will take on one of the harder hammers. Maybe
Sledge or Jack... or both!
Saturday night dinner is probably going to be a potluck style dinner.
Depending on the day's runs, there might even be talk of a small
nightrun somewhere... And yes, on Sunday there will be at least 1 run.

As usual its all primitive camping out of the back of your jeep or RV.
There are no facilities.
I will be bringing out more SocalXJ schwag and only printing out a small
batch of the more popular sizes of shirts, hoodies, hats, beenies and
G-strings... (yes, they are all gone!)

I will try and get at least 4 batches of Homebrew made... and anyone
else is welcome to bring there homebrew.

If we can get enough vendors on board for a Raffle then that will follow
dinner on saturday night.
Last year's raffle raised $1500 that was donated to Friends of Panimant
Valley http://www.fopv.org/

especially when 3 guys hard on the booze start up a hammer trail with stock steering and no spares. ;)

Do they have off road carseats yet? LOL Ashley keeps looking for the best one! She does not want to miss this event, again!

this sounds like fun i love J/V/ im there. /beard makes child seats.//Kevin

Yes, and while I was one of the drunk 12, *MY* jeep had spare steering in it. ;)

Of course, it was sitting at camp with two flat tires .. but still.

I TOLD KEVIN TO BRING HIS SPARES!!
But he also left his rig back at camp.
I'm not thinking I will be needing any steering spares with the
new front end I have, of course I didn't think I needed any last time!

summit sells those car seats

I do not think I can make this event. I will be working that weekend. I have to miss Calico too because of work.

But as always, "It's a small price to pay to be the Worlds finest"

and we left one jeep on the trail. hmmmm 2 jeeps and 12 people finished Claw and drove back to camp... good times.
Goat Sorry bout that. would love to have you wheel with us but St. Patty's weekend is a great weekend for wheeling and I'd consider it a relativly safe place to do some drinking with a big group and have a good time. don't have to drive home, just walk to your tent. There is bound to be a good fireworks show...
Ashley...

Yes its open to everyone. usually a couple of TJ's show. I have a buddy in a rubicon that is likely to be there. Maybe even a token toyota or something...
The raffle last year was a good one. Lots of stuff went out raising $1500 for FOPV. So this years goal should be bigger. But as always, its gonna be another killer weekend. hopefully not as windy and maybe a little warmer?
