Pneumatic Planishing Hammer

Harbor freight has a new pneumatic planishing hammer for $130

Eastwood has a kit that requires assembly for $450 or the pre assembled set for $670.

Anybody have any thought on the price versus what you get? The Eastwood set says it works on 18-gauge, but Harbor Freight doesn't put a thickness limit on theirs.

The Harbor freight piece actually looks pretty decent and useable for some sheet metal fabrication and at a huge price savings compared to Eastwoods stuff.

Looks to be the same setup....an air hammer held by a frame.

I'd say go HF, I'm betting that if needed you could upgrade the hammer.

wow.....im going to have to pick up one of those harbor freight hammers. ive been looking for one at a descent price

HF now has an English Wheel ($239) too. Or you can get the top wheel/anvil ($40) and the 6 bottom wheels/anvils ($70) seperately.
