OME and RE6200

I recently ordered the RE5.5" Extreme Duty kit and was planning on ordering the OME long travel shocks w/ it. The vendor i bought the kit from said OME long travels arent made for a kit that big and i'd be better off and get more tavel out of the RE TT's or MT's. I just searched and found a few responses from guys running around 5" of lift that have OME shocks. So is the extra half inch to an inch really going to be too big for OME shocks? Thanks for any info on this.

They aren't built for that much lift, the vendor is is right. Though I would be looking at the Bilstein 5100 series as an alternative.
