Diff vent hose on 99 XJ?

I have noticed a drip along the unibody rail driver side about midway between the tires. It smells and feels like diff fluid. Is the vent tube routed through the unibody rail on the drivers side. What could force fluid out the vent tube? Is it possible the tube is damaged? The Jeep is bone stock. It just started this today...damn thing!!:flamemad:

if you have been up some steep inclines a little may have sloshed up and out of the vent tube.

Hasnt even been offroad yet. Just bought it Sat. and drove it to Phoenix from San Diego. Noticed the leak today. Will look on the driveway at home for same drip. If its just a little sloshing out I can deal with that but it hasnt seen any inclines to speak of since I have owned it.:banghead:

Oh, it also has the Tow package with the LSD if that matters...
