Where to find an 87 EGR solenoid

Just omit it and make a block off plate
 
if he has emissions test then he needs it. i believe that its on the drivers fender, near the air box. it has a vacuume line coming out of it.
 
Yep I'm in the Socialist republic of Kalifornia so I need one that works and the boneyard is a krapchoot so I was hoping maybe someone else had the same experience and could point me to a scource for the part.
 
Yes renix egr's are interchangable-they look different but fit
 
They used a different EGR valve between an '87 and '89 renix. You can use an EGR valve for an '89 but you'll also need an additional device that goes in the vacuum line. I'm not sure what the extra device is called, possibly a vacuum modulator.
 
he needs the solenoid not the Valve. I believe the solenoid is the same 87-90
 
Hey thanks for all the help. The parts guy that I talked to initially told me the parts weren't available but he didn't know what he was talking about because I called another after reading you're posts and was told they are available for $$$$$$$$$$$$$, but at least they are around.
