I have a 98' Sport. My issue is now the radio won't work. Its a stock am/fm cassette radio. It will click on (I can hear it in the speakers) but no display and no sound. I checked the radio fuse inside the cab and its fine. The strange part is when I turn the radio off, I lose all the gauges. I mean they all go dead even when the jeep is running.
Could it be the connection/plug behind the dash? I recently took my doors off and unplugged all the connections behind the kickpanels to get them off, they are now back on and plugged back in. It worked fine for a week or two after putting my doors back on then it started to act like this. If one of the door plugs was not all the way in could it screw something up with the computer? I'm at a loss?
