doorless mod question

my hinges on the passenger side are different form the ones on my driver side ive searched and cant really find much about the hinges, should i just do the mod the same way anyway?
 
upside down. you need the pins to stay intact or you can use hitch pins and weld them into place where you want them

i assume you are referring to 96- doors.
