Haha thats a buddy of mine on the rig of the month in the link, I took that picture haha good times

I am mid swap with my taco(4runner) rear swap.
I got a 4.88 elocker rear from inchworm = bling bling
But,,, the money is starting to run out

i did the toy 8.4 swap last year, and so far it has worked very well. the gained clearence is great. the standard 3rd from the 8" won't work, but you can get the factory e-locker to work with a lot of modification. just need to redo the perches, adapt the brake lines and u-joint. take a look on www.ttora.com for axles and additional info.

I'm in the middle of swapping in an 8" with the E-Locker from a '97 4runner. It is the same width as the XJ rear. Your only problem is that the yota axles are 6 lug. So they are perfect if you are swapping in a different front. I'm putting in a Waggy 44 front to match the rear. I've got most of the stuff made and am getting ready to put them in this weekend. The 3rd members with the e-locker will not fit into the "8.4" housing. It will fit into other 8" housings with some mods. Here is a good site to check out. http://home.4x4wire.com/erik/diffs/#top
