how do i remove the crossmember!!! i have the 4 spacers out and its just hanging on the transfer cae!! what size socket do i need to get it off, and how??? i already have the tcase drop spacers out.

it is bolted to the tranny mount, its a rubber thing. should be 4 bolts. you should have the tranny supported already, btw

i had a jack there but replaced it with jackstands!!!! THanks

You do have some wood blocks or something to spread the weight out right? Not that the weight of the trans would let a jack stand cave in the tranny pan or anything.
