8.8 traction??

I am running a 8.8 in my xj i have the stock LSD, so far the traction has been OK but not great, i want to run a spool or mini spool, can i put a mini spool in my LSDiff or do i need to find a open carrier
also can i run a spool without a c clip eliminator?? or can i weld my LSDiff
i am regearing to513 and want to upgrade the carrier at the same time
i tried to search but can't find the info i need thx

Why not just go for a full spool? And you can use C clips with spools, but get the one that allow it. Jegs or Summit Racing sells full spools, check them out. Probably the best deal for what your going after.

Don't weld your LSD, IMO.

You might need a new carrier for the mini spool route.
