Cheap weld-on bead-lock kits?

Anybody know of a kit for a decent price? Or a cheap price?

Local shop wants $600 for 4 rims! That's for the kits to do 4 rims, that is...

Those are just two, there should be more on Pirate in the vendor section (when it's back up). Another option would be if you (or a buddy) could draw them up in a CAD program and have someone (preferably another buddy) Laser or Waterjet them out of plate.

Anybody personally used any of these? Or shall I just pick according to my budget and what I 'want'?

Oh, and the whole inside the lip and outside hte lip thing... Does it REALLY matter? I mean, I'm going to weld it with a stick welder. Not a MIG or a TIG - that'll never happen. And as near as I can tell I could do it either way equally well; providing I'm not missing something.

I do Rob's website (rockcityfab.com). Don't run his beadlocks yet, but have seen them extensively on the trail and they're top notch. I will definitely run them when I get to that point.

I can do drawings and I have a waterjet and access to tons of free material, but I've never seen a set of beadlocks not installed... If anyone has some dimensions or something I'd love to try to make a set of beadlocks for my 15x8 rockcrawlers...
