I have had a problem, with starting my jeep when the engine is cold. If I turn the ignition switch on far enough to prime the fuel pump, then try to crank it it usually starts fine. well my mechanic told me it was the fuel pump loosing prime, so i went out and bought one and put it in today. and the problem is still there. any help would be great!

Did you check the check valve that's after the fuel pump?

There is no factory check valve after the pump, it's built into the pumps.

Test your temperature sensors if they go bad the computer don't know the engines cold and don't richen the mixture for a cold start.

Does that statement apply to Renix also??

I thought that they had a check valve or a pressure valve there?? could be wrong!
