Tire pressure time....

Took the XJ down to NJ today and it was kind of squirley on the interstate. On the way home stopped at the Hess in NJ which in this area still has a REAL air compressor and old style dial your pressure pump. Checked my tires, 28lbs, wow, I normally run 40psi, pumped em back up to 40psi and all was good again. Damn summer air....

Gosh, that sounds overinflated for such a light vehicle. It must hit bumps roughly!

35psi here too on my xj when its on the street and my gti when its not on jackstands. I air down to 25 on the trails.

I run 40 in the xj's 35 in the yj on the street 12psi on trails.
