Too much noise when headlights are on :/

So I've noticed now that after installing HID's, that when I listen to the radio there is a ton of background noise when my headlights are on. As soon as I turn them off, its clear as day :)

The noise doesnt go up with RPM or anything. Even does it when the truck isn't running.

Do I just have a bad ground somewhere or something? Should I isolate the radio from the trucks electrical? Or just not use the ground wire thats part of the factory wiring harness?

Thanks!

HID systems do make a lot of electrical noise.
You will need to add filters to the radio power and sometimes adding a ground strap to the hood will help.
