oil press (warm): 20=idle 40= driving
MPG= bout' 17 or so mixed

yeaa mines just about 5 over too maybe more like 7... my oil press runs driving just about 50 - 52 psi. with about a 207-210 temp. i get just about 21MPG but thats calculating with the milage off. unless the odometer and trip doesnt run off the speedo gear??

99 4.0/AX15/NP231 stock with 225/75 tires, mileage about 162K: MPG about 24, oil pressure 20-45, operating temp about 205.

95 4.0/AX15/NP231 stock with 235/75 tires, mileage about 261K: MPG about 21, oil pressure 30-60, operating temp about 212.

JEEPS DON'T DIE....THEY'RE JUST RECYCLED

"lLa Accordio'n Roja"
96 stock xj , AX-15. 125K. 225/75 on Ford Explorer rims (got em in the divorce)...with the award winning claim of probably being the/my only xj officially wrecked and totalled TWICE by insurance within six months...one frontal and one rectal and neither one mea culpa. My repairs all recycled from u-pic-m's and individuals...a truly green operation when you compare it to the rest of the automotive world. New motto...Jeeps don't die, they're just being recycled. Just took her on a 2500 mile Grandma's House trip with steady 210 temp, 52+ and almost 22 mpg entire trip (sure glad the cps went out two weeks before I left}. Slowly collecting pieces to put together a good 2" BB in order to build the perfect future parts car. (salvage title blues) And I truly could not have done all that I have done without the assistence this forum gives everyone. Thanks to those who knew what they were talking about and willing to share it with others. Thanks for hours of fun research in more directions than I thought existed.
