ok, over the past week this problem has come and gone. now its here to stay it seems.

but i've notice the clutch pedal has slowly been decreasing pressure. I mean i'm at the point now where i almost have to shut the jeep off to get it into 1st. master cyl fluid is full and maintaining fluid. crawled underneith and pulled my engine/trans skid off and i didn' see any fluid traces from leaks.

the xj is a 88 I6 with peugeot.

I"m thinking before i pull the trans i'll try a new master cyl and bleed it threw.

bit more info. i checked under the dash and the fuse box for signs of leaking fluild. everything was dry. one interesting thing though. is this morning, the clutch feels fine again. but i'm positive all i gotta do is drive it for a bit and it'll get all soggy again.
