I have OME shocks installed in my 88 that came with the 2.0 inch lift I budget boosted it up to 3.5 and i wanna get a RE 4.5 can i use the OME shocks that I have? Or do I need to buy new shocks?

Check the number on your shocks. They are stamped in the body of the shock near the bottom.
If you have the N35 and N36 shocks they would probably be too short.
I have the N35L and N36L with my RE 4.5" and love them.

X-2, The extended shocks would be great for what you are doing. The 0-3" stock size shocks just aren't going to work.
