i couldn't get the upper shock mounts out on my xj to put in the 4.5 lift, so i pb blasted the hell out of them, now 3 are stripped and 1 the head broke off, wtf can i do??????

help asap rear shock mounts

I believe that there was a thread around here that explained how you could either cut up the floor in the rear to reach them, or something about drilling them out and using a wire attached to a bolt to place new ones through it.

I wish I would have known about this article when I did mine. I ended up drilling all the way through floor and bolting them that way. Common problem brotha...you're not the only one.
