In-dash Speaker

I'm looking for the in-dash speaker b/c it has a short in it somewhere, and every time I hit the brake, it goes off (annoying as h###). So, since I don't really need it, I'm going to just pull it . . . But I can't find it.

"88 XJ is the Jeep, so LMK if you know where it's at.

Just look under the dash and unplug it. It's on the driver side. Put the key in the ignition, open the door and find the box that makes noise.

Did that . . . Didn't find it earlier b/c we thought what it turned out to be was way to big for just a speaker. It's out now, though, and so much better.
