99 2.5 path from switch to starter

got a 99 2.5 5spd 2wd...when you turn the key to start no power gets to the NNS on the clutch pedal or to the starter relay under the hood. Where does the wire go after it leaves the switch...its a yellow one I think...at least it has power when you turn to the start position...fuses are all good and i've swapped around enough relays to know that they all work.
