Hi all... new to the site...

I've got an 86 with a 2.8 .... looking to do a 3.4 swap or a later running gear from a ZJ? Or has anyone done a swap from a Dodge pick up?

I'm assuming I'd have to go all the way, engine, trans, transfer case...?
I need your wisdom and input please! Not made of money, looking for more power to wheel...

A ZJ swap isn't going to be very feasable because since you have an 86 they hadn't started putting the 4.0s in thus the engine bay wouldn't accomodate a 4.0. However I think you could swap a 3.4L Camaro or similar engine in but you'll probably have to wait for some more input on this, this is just from what I've read.
