Ok guys I know this has been done before but its been a while so here it goes: List your favorite free or cheap mod you personally have done.
Disconectable Stock sway bar endlinks, used a wing nut on top and a steel preferated bar and quick clip in place of the pressed in bolt about $6 total(seen this same setup on ebay for more)
transfer case lowering (aproximatly 1 inch and zero ground clearance lost), used stock crossmember and cut and welded the same size piece to the bottom, grinded a little here and there for clearance and bolted the stock mount in. so far has worked great (about 12,000 miles now)cost $2 (welding rod)
hood spacer, used 1 inch tube spacers from hardware store and longer bolts to open up the engine compartment and let the heat out cost $3 for 1/2 (First time)and $5 for 1 inch (second time) (I went and made the gap larger for summer last year and left it since with zero regrets)
