TnT Long arm problem...

Hey i just started on the install of my long arm and when i set up my skid plate, the tranny mount bolts dont mount up to the plate...what are some ways to fix this?

the bolts dont drop through the holes? If so, just push the tranny around from side to side until it does. On mine, one of the braces was hitting the mount and keeping it from sitting flush on the crossmember, just grind the edge until it does.

thanks...yea it doenst go into the holes... i tired to push around the tranny a little bit but i wsant sure if that was the way to do it so ill try a little hardrer on it... thanks

yeah ... that is what you have to do. I put a huge pry bar inbetween the trans and somethin else to tweak it to the side enough to line up the bolts. You shouldent have to grind on the skid plate at all to make it happen unless your tranny mount is busted, but then your mount would be flopping all over the place.
