D30 vacum cable disconnect mod

As a trail fix after I lost the vacuum lines, I took the Disconnect housing off and moved the fork inside of it to the 4-wheel drive position. I then put a hose clamp around the rod that the fork is on to keep the fork in the engaged position. The axle is now always engaged in 4-wheel drive but it has worked for several runs. May not be the best way to go but my XJ is a trail jeep only so it worked well.

I'm one e-clip away from finishing the install (broke one of the ones that retains the fork on the shaft).
it seems to work ok off the truck. I'll try to get more pics and do a more detialed write-up soon. also notice that when i took this pic...
the fork is on backwards from where i want it... hence, the broken e-clip as i was in a hurry.
