another sye question

i just install ed a 6.5 inch lift and was wondering if i could get away with running just a sye and the stock driveshaft.or do i need a longer driveshaft and a sye.

nice we got a aperson from scapoose...i run into st helens sometimes nearby...no you def need the cv driveshaft to fit into the sye....if it's long enough then YA! but try it....

you can't use a stock shaft witha SYE. you need a DC shaft with a slip yoke within the shaft itself. you may be able to use a stock front shaft from another wrecked auto-231......but with 6.5 you may be pushing it.
