98 dodge ram axles swap into a 93 XJ

I have a buddy who is swapping his axles on his dodge ram, my question is is it possible to swap the dana 44 and crysler 9.25 out of his truck into my XJ without to much modification or will it work at all? What i mean by this is it similar to swaping in a ford 9"? i plan to run around 35's. sorry this thread isnt very well worded. Thanks for any help.

a lot can be done with a tape measure, an angle finder, and a welder

its a very safe assumption that a full-width axle swap will require alot of modification/fabrication.
