Lug conversion questions

Ok, so I'm looking at putting an Isuzu D44 under my 97XJ. The Isuzu has rear disks which is a plus, but its a 6 lug. 6x5.5 to be exact. And a Jeep is 5x4.5. So insted of carrying two spares, one end needs to be changed. I found adapters that change it from 5 to 6, or 6 to 5. Origionally I was going to change the rears, but found out today my front wheel bearings need to be replaced.

So is there a way to replace the front wheel bearings/hub assembly and rotors with a 6 lug so I dont have to use dangerous and wide spacer/adapters in the rear? Also my rims are off a Ranger, and the previous owner had them torched on the inside to fit over the Jeep hubs. Now I get a hop at 50mph and they are impossible to ballance. So I need to buy new rims also. Also I guess the adapters need a bit of machine work, so I'd rather convert the front to 6 with stock parts if its possible.

Anyone? Was there ever a 6 lug D35 made that will allow me to reuse my stock front calipers? Just looking for a 6lug wheel bearing/hub assemble to convert my front to 6 lug.

Not that I am aware. You could have a set of hubs redrilled I guess. Fill the old holes, and use a wheel with a close fitting center as a pattern.

OR, use wheel adapters - your links.
