Quick axle question

:farmer: Hi all, Blair again. I have a friend that has a mid to late 70's early 80's FSJ at his place and he's not sure what axles it has. Are they front and rear D44's or what, I'm looking to pick it up to swap axles on my XJ. If there not 44's then what other axles could they be? Thanx.

could have an AMC model 20 out back. As far as I understand, thats not worth anything unless you have a Dana 35 and absolutely NO access to ANYTHING else. (which is hard to believe with all of the XJ 8.25s around). Depending one the drop of the Waggy 44 it might be worth it. If its driver side drop it could be worht it for the front. If its pass drop, its not reall worth it.

The AMC 20 will have a very round and hemispherical diff cover. The 44 will be somewhat trapezoidal shaped.
