Hi Jeepers!
It has been a while since last time I had a question for you guys, but here it comes. Do the Dodge 318 V8 and the Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 share the same block? The engine I got for my XJ 5.2 V8 conversion has gotten the right motor mount knocked off in the collision it was involved in. I didn't see the damage when I picked up the engine, but found out during the overhaul inspection. I have friend who has a Dodge 318 V8 engine from a van, and it's mine if the blocks are interchangeable. Is this a simple swap? The ZJ V8 is from a 1998 and the Dodge 1991(?)
The reason for me not asking any questions is the birth of my first child, a son on the 27. of July. I'm in the diper changing business now! This is great, I can't wait taking him out offroading for the first time!
