will that alternator work on my 1993 jeep cherokee with the 4.0L?

It says starting year: 1987 Ending year: 1990

Will this alt only work on the renix systems?

nevermind...it won't work but i called power master and they have a 170 amp for $400...yeah, ok

Yes and most any auto electric shop can build you one for much less.

you can get a Mean Green which put's like 150amps out for 350.00. I just put one in my XJ the only problem I had was I add to modify the bracket that held it in place with a die grinder. It works great though. Try shopping at 4wd.com there awsome.
