Kinda limted on tools, I have just the norm as far as sockets and wrenches I have a 6 inch c clamp and a set of vice grips that double as BFHers lol Was thinking about getting some sliders and some assorted tools.
I would say to wait for the welder and expand your tool collection. I would make sure you have the right tools to work on the Jeep. I have an OK selection of tools, but I am lacking many Jeep neccessities.
Here are a couple of my recommendations:
ratcheting wrenches
nice selection of hammers (at least 3, one of them being at least a 3lb sledge)
Selection of vice grips
Torx sockets for those few torx bolts on Jeeps
Nice torque wrench
If you wheel it, make sure you have a nice trail kit. Spares come in time, but having the tools to install a broken item is key.
There are lots of choice and opinions, and that $400 will not last long.
