Are there tests for checking O2 sensor, TPS, etc?

I want to make sure everything is running like it should on my MJ (88 4.0 with 200k). Without going out and buying all these different sensors and stuff and then finding out I don't need them, is there a way to test them?

O2 and TPS come to mind immediatly, throw in any other sensors you can think of.

Yes you can test them. Most of the manuals available will tell you how. FSM is the best source of information. It seems like many folks like to throw sensors as their XJ but I like to test them and only replace a bad one. You'll need a digital volt meter to test the O2 sensor. Most of the others can be tested with just about any volt/ohm meter you have available.
