Any of you guys try one on a Renix? Id like to stay cheap, theres 3 wire NGK and Bosch sensors on ebay for $25 shipped. Should I use one or buy OEM (im not rich)

I used a Bosch in my 89, with good results. (The OEM is probably made by Bosch, because the replacement Bosch looked EXACTLY like the OEM, except for the logos.) Just make sure you get the Titania type for the Renix, they're different from the later model O2 sensors.

Buy the O² sensor specific to your XJ. The Renix ECMs use a sensor that creates no voltage output. Instead, it varies resistance and value toleraces are important.

If you're going to do it, do it correctly.
