I just pulled p1899 from my 96. it Just came on after it stalled in traffic a few times and would not start for a few mins. anyone have any ideas. thanks

Probably caused by trying to restart in drive when you stalled in traffic.

No i just had my nss bypassed. i guess that makes sence but then why did it come on after i stalled? oh well thanks

What do you mean by "bypassed"? The NSS is pretty easy to clean. Google on "Jeep NSS Clean" and the first two hits should be jeepin.com and Marcus's writeups.
