Fuel Injectors

I had a small engine fire in my jeep which was caused from the wiring harness for the fuel injectors touching the exhaust manifold. Newase, the fire damaged a the plastic plugs on a couple of the injectors. Well its an 89 cherokee w/ a 4.0 from a 93. I used the injectors from the 93 motor and still have the injectors from my 89 motor. I know the numbers on both sets of injectors are different but i was wonmdering if i could still use a couple of the injectors from my 89 set with the 93 injectors still in the engine?
