high steer arm hardware prep

Should I prep the hardware (studs, conical washers) with anything? Just worried about getting it all apart down the road once it starts to rust.

anti seeze all but the nuts going on the studs. on the nuts use plenty of thread locker. as for the mating surface of the arm and the knuckle, i have seen two ways of doing this both with no failures. 1st way is to completelt clean the top of the knuckle and slide the arm on with nothing but bare metal touching, ive been told and have read this is actualy what creates the force to hold the two together. 2nd way is to paint both the arm and the knuckle and slideim together and bolt its up before it dries, i did this cause i hate the look of rust on my nice shiny black knuckle and arm's. i hope this helps.
