well ive been doing alot of searching lately and what ive come up with is that
i can use the P.O.R.C. SYE. then use a stock front driveshaft off of an AUTOMATIC XJ
I currently have a 2001 cherokee limited. i have NP231 J and a CHRYSLER 8.25 rear end. Ive found that it only works with automatics and i have to have a 8.25 because the rear differential sticks out farther than the dana 35. now does anyone know of a good write up on installing a PORC SYE. how hard could it be ? i dont have to remove the transfer case but what all exactly is involved. I put he entire lift on by myself in my driveway so im up for it, i just want to make sure that its not something i should get installed professionally. and one more thing, how long if you ran this set up did it take to install ?
