New to group

Howdy,
I just got an 89 xj severasl months ago. Got the chilton rebair book and am getting into fixing it up. I have Wranglers P235/75/15 M+S on it but just got some Good Year Wrangler RT/S P265/75R15 M+S. Will these fit now with it lift stock? If not how much lift will I need and how much does it cost?

The 265/75-15 are about 32" tall tires. They will not fit very well on a stocker without trimming the fenders. I would go with at Least 3" lift to fit them with trimming. Stock wheels will not work either.

You can get cheap 3" lifts from various places. Usually $300 and up for most.

Or if your up to the task, make your own rear leaf pack. Buy shackles, t case drop, ZJ front coils, front spacer, adj track bar, ect....

Nope. I live in the NW. Try the socal chapter section. They should know. Or maybe one of them will do it for ya.
