hi-lift mount for stock roof rack?

just wondering if anyone has heard of a company that makes a hi-lift mount for a stock roof rack. i heard orf made one, but i could not find it.

Why?

A hi-lift isn't "that" heavy, and if it is secured properly why wouldn't it work?

Sorry...I guess it depends on where and how it's mounted. I grabbed the rear crossbar on my stock rack and it came off in my hand. I sure wouldn't trust it for my hi-lift. BTW, the all-cast iron hi-lifts are pretty heavy.

I have a Yakima load warrior to carry a second spare tire and got an attachment from Yakima to carry a HI LIFT jack on the side rail. It works great. The Load warrior will mount to the exiting roof rack but I prefer to mount it to yakima rails, much stronger.
