Which axle?

Okay I have found a Ford 9", a Dana 44, and a Dana 60. All are being sold for 200 each. Out of suggestion what should i go with. The dana 44 is 59" and the 9" is 58" wide. I e-mailed the seller and asked him what model they came from and what years. But off of what i have said, which one?

If you are looking for strength up to a 37" tire, the 9" has beef over the 44.
The 60 is pretty much a boat anchor if it is 30 spline or less. a 35 spline 60 would be good from 39" tires and up.

well how about a V8 as well. i am looking for strength in that and tire size.

research the 9". Ideally you want big bearing and 31 spline axles. If it is 29 spline, torino or small bearing pass it up and go with the 44.

like I said about the 60... if it is a 30 spline, it isn't 'that' much stronger than the 44... It can be upgraded to 35 spline but again, overkill for tires under 37s
