D30 Lock-Right Install Q

When installing a lock right into a Vaccum Disco D30 theres a C-Clip on the passenger side axle shaft but its impossible to put that clip back on once the carrier and locker are in. Ive read there are no ill-effects with out the clip in. Someone else must have had this problem.

I didn't put mine back in and that was with an open carrier.

Did you try using a bent piece of wire and fishing it back in that way?

Guy was talking about this in another thread just the other day...

You don't have to reinstall that clip.

Another dumb question, I beleive my front drive shaft is now always spinnin, ive had a noisey U joint in it for a while and i can hear in when im in 2wd now which means the front drive shaft is spinning. It never used to spin in 2wd before the locker.

yes it is now spinning..
