Friend just lifted his daughter's '90 with a 4" lift. He added a 1" t-case drop. Between the 2 of us we've lifted several XJ's (especially recently). It's a 242 t-case.
The rear driveshaft has virtually no clearance where the slipyoke and driveshaft yokes mate up. The ear that is on the down side is just about touching the driveshaft.
Any idea why? I just recently put a 4-4.5" lift on my '98 and have plenty of clearance...granted I realize the tailshaft housings are different but...???
Neither one of us have run into this before whether it was early or late model.
