Hi all, Blair here, and I has a strange question for all the fabricators out there. I was wondering if anybody knows how to make a flag pole strong enough to fly a 3'x5' flag at highway speed and still have use of all doors and visible lights. The reason I want a flag pole strong enough for highway speed is, 1-I'm lazy, and 2-I'm going to start a 4x4 club up here in Northern Idaho and I want to get some exposure and fly the club flag as much as humanly possible. Thanks!!! Blair :passgas:

2" box tube, make it fit in the hitch reciever, put a 90 in it, and have a removeable flagpole. (my 3' x 5' pirate flag would look good on one :))

Before you do this, check with local codes. It may not be legal, due to distraction. Same reason why you can't put a 20" monitor in your ride and watch porn.

Consider electrical conduit for the "mast", and then a removable/ quick disconnect style base. You could make a "mast" to fit in your trailer hitch, if your Jeep has one.
