Before you guys rag on me, I have always owned XJ's - never an MJ.
Just scored an MJ really cheap, for a chop top XJ project. I havn't picked it up yet, but the guy said he is sure it has a 44 rear end becouse he had to replace the bearings. Now heres the stupid question, is the axle the correct width for an XJ? He did say that when the bearings went, he was going to put an XJ 8.25 in it, but the spring pads were spaced differently, so I know I need to change them, just wondering if the WMS is the same.
I also have to apoligize to all of you MJ guys for hacking up such a prestine POS before I get all of the, build it, dont cut it replies! It really is junk. Anyone have any isea on what ratio this might be - 2WD - AX15
