94...won't turn over

Just got a 94 and 91...two for one deal!!! I Replaced the starter and ignition switch (on the 94), but it won't turn over with the key. I do have power and can start from the starter relay. No backup lights. NSS?

It may be. Try to bypass the NSS, and see what happens. If your able to start, it might be that. I wouldn't think it would be in the ignition switch itself. Politley, http://www.naxja.org/forum/search.php. There are tons of threads on 'no starts'.

Sounds like the NSS. Try moving the shifter around while holding the key turned. Here's a writeup on cleaning it. http://jeepin.com/features/nss/index.asp

Does the window have an ATS sticker on it? My '93 does and there is a computer "key" that corrodes and stops them from cranking (It stands for anit-theft system)

No ats sticker. I have pulled the NSS and cleaned it. I am going to put it back on and will post with results.
