i see them all the time but cant figure out the purpose of the holy crap thats tall and out there stingers on some of these jeeps. is it to keep the rig from rolling end over end forwards or what?? call me what you will but i dont understand the point, teach me.

its use to ride up onto a high ledge...

the bumper will slide up onto a legde helping the front wheels up onto it

didn't even think about one of them kind.....they rent those by the hour in Bankok, with 2 uh....assistants :eyes:

P.S. thanks, i was told by one guy that they were to keep the jeeps from rolling end over end, didnt believe it but you never know these days.

They are used, both to keep the rig from rolling, and to protect the engine in the event of a roll.
